Girls Engineering will carry go-carts into the new year

The club has come to an end! Much hard wok on the parts of the members resulted in some great beach chairs, the club’s major accomplishment. Go- carts, the current activity, are tough to make which is why this project will have to overlap into the next school year. Lest other smaller projects not be mentioned, the girls learned about famous mechanics and people who invented engineering tools. Throughout the year many new members have joined the club. “It’s really fun and the teacher is awesome!” is a sentiment echoed by the whole club. Members encourage new joiners next year for more fun and beautiful projects.

Asian Pacific Islander Club travels to Boston

The Asian Pacific Islander Club traveled to Boston on Wednesday, June the 2nd, for an exciting, fun and informative trip. First, the club members visited the Boston Public Library where they saw the “Faces and Places” exhibit. Then, they enjoyed some wonderful and delicious food at a club member’s parent’s restaurant, called Choe’s Cafe. Also, the biographies of people who have done something good in the Asian community have been hung in the Day library.
