What has Day’s faculty resolved for the new year?
by R. P. and N. R.
January is a time to take stock and resolve to improve. Several Day teachers share their thoughts...
- A. C. (English): “To be nicer and understanding of other people.”
- J. H. (science): “To recover from my shin split injury and to get back to the gym 4 days a week so I can continue to develop my svelte body.”
- E. S. (math): “I don’t make New Year’s resolutions because I don’t follow them. I don’t wait for New Year’s to do things.”
- S. F. (social studies): “I haven’t even thought of one yet...so many to choose from.”
- A. L. (Spanish): “To sell more yearbooks: that’s my school resolution. My personal New Year’s resolution is to get some work done around the house, like painting.”
- W. P. (French): “To stop being a couch potato and exercise more during the off-season.”
- T. T. (video): “To get organized.”
- R. M [librarian]: “Make a resolution that I won’t make resolutions I won’t keep.”
- K. C. (Italian): “I’m giving more homework to my students.”
- D. C. (aide): “I think [my resolution] is to be healthy.”
- B. W. (art): “To keep up with old friends.”
